Rathmore Pantomime Group Handed Over €16,500 to the KPFA From This Years Pantomime 'Aladdin'
PANTO HANDOVER. Following the huge success of their recent panto 'Aladdin' in Rathmore, The Marian Players handed over the proceeds of the pantomime on Saturday night March 23rd at a function in The Star Bar, Rathmore.
Chairman of Kerry Parents and Friends Association, Martin Walsh, was on hand to receive a cheque for €16,500.00 on behalf of the association. Congratulating everyone concerned he thanked the group for their support over the last 26 years and guaranteed that the money would be spent wisely to enhance the services they provide in the district. He sincerely thanked all who made the show possible, the patrons and all who support the efforts of The Marian Players in showcasing the best of local talent year in year out.
Michael John Dinneen founding chairman of The Marian Players and Chairman of Kerry Parents and Friends for 22 years echoed those sentiments and wished continued success to the group into the future.
