Rathmore Community Council has created a new fundraising committee to raise substantial monies for the development of a children's playground in Rathmore. At this inaugural meeting it was decided to have a once- off fundraising night at the dogs at Tralee Greyhound Stadium on October 12th 2013. We earnestly request your help. Daffodil Day Coffee Morning and Cake Sale at St. Joseph's Day Care Centre Rathmore. Would like to say a sincere thank you to all who helped organise our recent Coffee Morning and cake sale in aid of cancer care serviceswhich raised €2,816 despite the bad weather conditions. Thesuccessful applicants will be placed in a Laundry and Recycling Furniture Project as well as a childcare facility. If you are in receipt of a social weifare payment and over 25 years old, unemployed 12 month or more or on a disability payment 6 month are more you may be interested in applying. You must be registered with the Fas Enterprise officer. Please note the successful applicant will need to obtain Garda Clearance. Sliabh Luachra Cycling Club Tour Sliabh Luachra in Memory of Paul O' Leary & Willie Reen in Association with Sliabh Luachra Cycling Club will take place on Saturday 31stAugust. 3 Routes: 110km - Paul O' Leary Route; 65km -Willie Reen Route 65km and a Family Run. Registration from 8:00a.m. and starting time 9.30am sharp at Teach Iosagain Rathmore (behind St. Joseph’s Church Rathmore).Entry fee is €20 for the 110km and 65km routes only (€2 surcharge for non cycling lreland members.) Family Runcosts €10 per person or €20 for a family. Proceeds in aid of Kerry Stars and St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. Cycling Helmets Compulsory - 15 years or older only, eligible for Paul O' Leary and Willie Reen routes.
